Artist Statement
I was inspired to my art journey through an art therapist. On the days when I had to draw how an emotion felt in my body, I had massive breakthroughs! I could not deny the power of moving the emotions in me OUT onto paper. It was deeply transformative and had me hungry for more. I had always wanted to paint and decided to give myself a year to really give it my all. I have completely fallen in love with painting & feel I am still at the beginning of my painting journey. There is truly no other feeling than creating something out of nothing. A really meaningful something at that. I have now been painting 2 years and am truly excited to see how far I can go with this!
