Being Watched
Illustrated for an assignment in ART-2270, I found myself really enjoying creating this piece as I normally do not enjoy horror themes. However, just the slight creepy feeling I was able to evoke in this piece made it one of my favorites from my time studying at SLCC.

Artist Statement
Heya! I'm Kaylie Grimes and right now I am going for an AAS in Visual Art & Design, but I am trying to explore different avenues for art such as Animation or 3D modeling/sculpting/animating to get a feel for what I want to do as a career.
My biggest inspiration for anything is usually from games ranging from video games to even tabletop RPGs- but anytime I watch Avatar: The Last Airbender, I am so incredibly inspired to create. That show remains to be one the biggest things pushing me to pursue a degree in the arts.
