Pre-Popped Corn for Refined Palettes
This project was specified as a 3/0 design for a flat-bottom bag that would hold ready-to-eat popcorn. I chose to design packaging for a more elegant kind of popcorn mix. It was interesting to experiment with photography for the side panels of this bag.
Artist Statement
Art's greatest power is its ability to establish a meaningful connection between those who create it and those who consume it. That connection has allowed cultures to flourish across continents and across millennia. As artists, I believe that our greatest power is in creating that connection.
Through art, we have the power to tell our stories. We have the power to add joy and beauty to the world, as well as document its pain. We have the power to challenge ideas and sway our audiences’ minds. We have the power to imagine a better world, as well as help create it.
My goal as an artist is to do all of those things.
