Krakencorn started as a project to create a simple popcorn bag design. This out-of-the-box idea came to life with the idea to combine sea salt popcorn with the creatures that reside within it. One of the main locations sea salt is produced is in the North Sea and the same place where the legends of the Kraken were born. The design for Krakencorn features digital illustration, typography, and photography to bring out themes of industrial sea life, and the mythical sea creature hungry for popcorn.
