This poster was designed to bring awareness to Banned Books week in 2021. I chose the banned book, "Carrie" by Stephen King. This book was banned due to sexual and violent themes. In the book, the protagonist, a young girl named Carrie, is lead to believe that menstruation, or "The Something" is evil. This poster features a blobby, hand-lettered reference to this part of the book.
