Artist Statement
Hi, my name is Erin Kakazu, and I am majoring in animation. I chose an animation major because I knew it would help my line quality. However, I hope to become a concept artist someday in the near future. I have studied perspective, depth perception, value theory, and color theory. I have dabbled in many different mediums, but my preferred mediums are graphite, oil paint, and digital. I have enjoyed traditional oil painting and I hope to bring my digital painting skills up to par with my traditional art skills.
