Can A Woman Forget
Isaiah 49:15 in the Old Testament compares the love a mother has for her baby to only a fraction of how much God loves his children. My experience of pregnancy and breastfeeding was split between divine joy and growth and pain and loss. This piece is my expression of the breadth and depth of those experiences in accessing an understanding of God’s love for me.

Artist Statement
Mother of four, wife to one, artist for me. I can usually be found in my laundry room painting and drawing, in my kitchen cooking and writing or outdoors gardening, hiking, embarrassing my kids and talking to chickens in and around Salt Lake City, Utah.
