Chimerical
Chimerical is a self portrait that takes "head in the clouds" a little too literally. A girl that is fantasizing of living in a mythical world, but the best she can do is try to create her own. This piece is a digital double exposure.

Artist Statement
As evidenced by her Halloween sunrise elopement, Salt Lake based graphic designer Emma Muller finds inspiration in the strange and unusual. Currently pursuing an AS in Graphic Design at Salt Lake Community College, Emma is influenced by her favorite artist David Byrne as they share a love for all things weird and cool. After graduation she plans to transfer to the University of Utah to earn a BFA in Graphic Design.
Emma's day job is a library circulation specialist, where she is able to combine her interests of design and technology, with tasks such as managing the branch's 3D printing station and designing newsletters. In her spare time she can be found experimenting with hair colors, playing tabletop games, and collecting obscure VHS tapes.
