This piece is a depiction of some mental hardships I’ve faced. I wanted to imitate the feeling of losing one’s self coupled with disassociation. I used the distortion and movement to show the transience of stability along with a warped perspective. I want this piece to evoke feelings and make people think, so I left some unanswered questions.

Artist Statement
Art has been an outlet for me to express myself and the impressions I have that I can’t quite articulate. I have loved drawing and painting since as long as I can remember. My grandfather ignited this passion in me when I was a child and he has continued to inspire me to this day.
