This timeless still life of 3 colorful pears was originally created to complete a class assignment of using only pallet knives - a new technique to my skillset yet very rewarding.

The composition is beautiful in its simplicity and colors. The blend of colors creates depth, shadows, highlights that harmonize well with the neutral background.

This work is the first of its kind and a product of my learnings at SLCC and studies with Susan Jarvis, a local oil painter.
